My name is Joe Covert, owner and operator of Covert Carpentry, a small family owned carpentry business. With 20 years of experience in the carpentry trade, I have discovered my true passion lies in creating custom pieces that stand out in every situation. With Covert Carpentry, we are dedicated to excelling in our craft by using only top-quality wood products in our constructions. Our standard builds incorporate durable 3/4 plywood for all casework, and we work with a wide variety of hardwoods to meet specific design needs. Whether creating paint-grade or stained finishes, we ensure that every project utilizes high-quality finishes tailored to its requirements. To achieve a smooth, flawless finish reminiscent of factory quality, we employ either a high-pressure low-volume (HPLV) or an air-assisted airless spray system. For select projects, we also integrate hardwax oils like Rubio 2C, enhancing both aesthetics and durability. Design holds immense significance in our process, and we utilize advanced software to visualize the intricate details of each cabinet build, allowing clients to see their vision come to life before construction begins.
